Terms
Last updated November 5, 2026
These terms cover the KoZo app and this website. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
The license
KoZo's code is public and released under the MIT license. The license file says what you may do with the code, and it applies to the versions it ships with. Later versions may come with different terms.
No warranty
KoZo is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. As far as the law allows, its maker isn't responsible for any loss or damage from using it, including lost game saves, lost data or wrong playtime.
KoZo's backups are there to protect your saves, but no backup is a promise. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
Your games and accounts
KoZo tracks the games on your PC. It doesn't sell or supply games. You're responsible for how you use it, and for following the rules of your games, stores and accounts.
Your data
Your library and backups stay on your PC, and in your own cloud storage if you choose that. The privacy page says exactly what stays and what leaves, including how KoZo uses Google Drive.
Other services
Some features rely on services KoZo doesn't run, such as Steam, SteamGridDB, CheapShark, Google Drive and Discord. Each has its own terms. If one of them changes or stops, that feature may stop working.
Prices and release dates come from those services and can be wrong or out of date, so check the store before you buy.
Names and game art
KoZo isn't affiliated with Valve, Epic Games, GOG, Microsoft, Electronic Arts or Ubisoft. Game names and art belong to their publishers.
Changes
These terms can change. When they do, the date at the top changes with them.
